Mosley could'nt take out Estrada. Margarito will KO him if they fought and I would bet on it. Who the heck wants to see that anyway? How about Judah-Margarito for ALL the belts. Margarito would do it, but Judah I doubt would take the risk.

Mosley could have easily stopped Estrada in the 4th or 5th but chose not to. He was ripping Estada hard to the body and had David backing up not wanting any more. For some reason he decided not to go to the body at all in the last 5 rounds. Either he wanted to get some rounds in, or espn paid him to go 10 exciting rounds after Diaz pulled out.

Don't get me wrong, Mosley was rusty and didn't throw many combinations. But he was in a completely different class than Estrada and easliy beat him throwing one shot at a time.

I for one would love to see Mosley fight Margarito, but he needs at least one more fight to get adjusted to the weight change and sharpen up. I agree with his decision.

Some great fights coming up at 147, just wait another 3 months for Mosely to get back into the mix.

Well, I guess we disagree here. Mosley was trying to crack Estrada hard to the head, after giving up the effective body work. I just don't feel a guy will give an opponent a chance to come back at him if he can avoid it. At any rate, I don't see Mosley ever regaining his past glory. Peace.

mosley looked like a punched ticket but he could probably beat estrada if he was 50. judah and margarito dominate mosley at this point.

IMO
If Mosley wanted to get him out of there, Estrada would've been stopped in the 5th...easily.

The body was open for Mosley all night long. He was tagging David there continuously in the first 3 rounds, and in the 4th he was unloading on Estrada's body at will. It was obvious to me that Mosley intentionally quit working the body after round 4. An experienced pro doesn't abandon whats working unless he chooses to.

I need to see Mosley fight again at 147 against decent comp before I put money on him against top comp. He looked very good against the best at 154 RECENTLY, Wright was taller, longer, bigger, and a slick southpaw but Mosley still gave him all he could handle. If Shane is washed up, so is Wright.

Btw, Mosley had to lose 6 pounds of pure muscle to get down to 148.
It could take a couple of fights for him to get sharp again, he knows that, and thats why he turned down the fight with Margarito...for now.

mosley fought bums when he was lighweight champion gomez (how he got a shot i will never know) ceballos (a glorified club fighter) molina (a shell of himself). he fought more bums after he was welterweight champion taylor and stone espn fighters at best. he only fought forrest and wright because he thought they were about as good as the oddsmakers thought they were. now he will fight more bums. butterbean the king of 4 rounders mosley the king of tomato cans.

Personally, I think Mosley still has the skills, but he is lacking bigtime in the confidence Department. 4 losses in 6 fights after being undefeated could do that to any fighter. The big question is will he get it back. He needs to fight a b level guy or a Sims, who is decent, but shouldnt beat Mosley. Shane IMO, needs to knock somebody out. Mosley gets another win, and Judah sucessfully defends his title, that is the match. Margarito is a bad dude, and he is the Juan Manuel Marquez of 147. High risk, low money. I would love to see Judah-Mosley. Zab is quicker, but Mosley is the tougher of the 2 hands down. I think that could be a great fight.
